Up On the Roof

The porch feels so different with the roof sheathed! I (Sarah) was so surprised the first time I walked underneath it.

Isn't the wood beautiful? I told Mickey it's almost a pity to cover it up! Fortunately, this sheathing will always be visible from beneath. We won't ever have to cover it up. Not a bad view.


After the sheathing came the ice and water shield and the felt paper.

And then the shingles!

Sitting up on the roof has become one of our favorite spots to hang out.
