Our first babies of the season! Avelanna threw twins, as we expected, on Thursday. It was quite the surprise to come home to!
The kids were born on a fiercely windy afternoon, which greatly worried us humans.
We were especially worried about "Li'l Blond", who spent some of Day 1 by the stove for some extra TLC.
Some warmth and some colostrum, and ready to return outside!
"Li'l Brown" was noisy and energetic from the start!
Avelanna has been a very patient and attentive mother.
By Day 2, the kids were considerably sturdier on their feet.
Although still a bit shaky.
Our close-circuit monitor watches all.
Extreme cuteness indeed! :)
